So I took one look at my Japanese exam this morning, and said "PR3P4R3 2 B 0WNZ3D, f00!" And then I put my boot in its ass. :D Seriously, it was EASY. Or at least, easier than I expected. I am definitely doing better in the class this term. The 3 hours of kanji practice yesterday also paid off, because I nailed them too.

Anyhoo, I had a quick bite with [livejournal.com profile] junsiew and now I'm at work. Last night was pretty blah--lots of kanji practice, and tv watching. The new Alias was, uh, confusing. ::laughs:: I should have paid more attention to it and less attention to my dinner. QAF was mreh. Stupid B/J crap. Brian should have held out *way* longer before taking Justin back! Of course, if I were writing the show, Justin would go hurtling off a bridge to a painful and fiery death, but hey, that's just me. But man, Brian could have at *least* made Justin work for it. Jesus.

Tonight = NOTHING! ::cries tears of joy:: Well, nothing after kickboxing and JSO, anyway. I plan to watch Ep. 8 of Gluhen, do some phat gaming, and be all-around-lazy. I haven't had a chance to do that in far too long.

And now, I fill out survey, which I yanked from [livejournal.com profile] rmalena.

1. Your name spelled backwards. haras (and what the hell is the point of this question anyway? ::alsdkfhasdklfhasdklf::)
2. Where were your parents born? Daddy in Illinois, Momma in Taiwan.
3. What is the last thing you downloaded onto your computer? Not sure. ::laughs:: It was either Weiss Kreuz Gluhen Ep. 8, or a TMBG song.
4. What's your favorite restaurant? I like food too much, so I'll have to go by genre: China Blue for Chinese/dim sum. Misako for Japanese. Beppe and Gianni's for Italian, although they're expensive, so I don't go there much. The best pizza place I ever ate at was The Recovery Room, in Connecticut. I like Taste of India for Indian food. And Taco Bell for those "I have $1.82 to my name, how the hell will I feed myself?" days. ::rotfl::
5. Last time you swam in a pool? Too long, my dears, too long. Probably that one time when [livejournal.com profile] sassanik had that big pool party at her parents' house. Yes, *that* long.
6. Have you ever been in a school play? Yes, several, one of which was a musical.
7. How many kids do you want? Not more than two. Once they outnumber the parents, it's trouble. ;p
8. Type of music you dislike most? It's a toss-up between Pop and Country. Pop musicians seem to have such utterly marginal talent that I just can't stand it. Country artists have more talent than Pop, but a less desirable sound. That, and a lot of Country kids are hopping the fence into the Pop genre, and Pop kids are leaping into the Country genre, so eventually they will be ONE AND THE SAME.
9. Are you registered to vote? Absolutely.
10. Do you have cable? Yep. We're working the premium channels, man.
11. Have you ever ridden on a moped? No. But I'll be relaxed and groovy if I ever do. And I'll be sure to say "Ciao" a lot.
12. Ever prank call anybody? I think I did once in middle school, but I busted up laughing in the middle of my line. XD
13. Ever get a parking ticket? Well, yes, but not a *real* one. (read: University parking tickets) They even gave me two parking tickets in one day, when I was trying to move out of the dorms, those fucks.
14. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving? Only under extreme duress.
15. Furthest place you ever traveled. I apparently went to Taiwan a billion times before the age of two. As for traveling that I can *remember*, I think the place furthest from where I am now would be Quebec City, Le Vieux Quebec.
16. Do you have a garden? I would if I had a yard. Or even a deck. I'm on the THIRD FLOOR, people.
17. What's your favorite comic strip? Right now, probably 8-BT or SGVY. And Penny Arcade also has its moments.
18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem? Having sung it in choir like 50000 times, they are permanently lodged in my brain.
19. Bath or Shower, morning or night? Shower, in the morning. Sometimes another post-workout, in the evening. Bath when I have the time to soak, or the lack of desire to deal with washing my acres of hair.
20. Best movie you've seen in the past month? I'd have to say Spirited Away. Of course, I only managed to see two movies in the theater this month, so it's not exactly a large sample. ::rotfl::
21. Favorite pizza topping? Canadian Bacon and Pineapple! Mmmm, I should order some soon... ::drools::
22. Chips or popcorn? Chips! Especially Doritos.
23. What color lipstick do you usually wear? None. It's all about Softlips, man. Sometimes some shimmer gloss.
24. Have you ever smoked peanut shells? What the hell would I want to do that for?
25. Have you ever been in a beauty pageant? LMAO!! I might actually consider it, if I didn't mean that I'd automatically be branded an idiot for even participating.
26. Orange Juice or apple? Orange juice forever!
27. Who was the last person you went out to dinner with and where did you dine? [livejournal.com profile] aleisha, [livejournal.com profile] capnslappy, [livejournal.com profile] dellswor, [livejournal.com profile] numfar, [livejournal.com profile] polysciguy, [livejournal.com profile] rantar, [livejournal.com profile] rhyn, [livejournal.com profile] theletterc, [livejournal.com profile] thistleknot, [livejournal.com profile] whiteraevyn, plus Dan and Reen. At Misako! :D
28. Favorite type of chocolate bar? Nestle Crunch/Hershey's Krackel. You know they're the same damned candy bar.
29. When was the last time you voted at the polls? I don't think I've ever voted at the polls--I have absentee ballots sent to my house.
30. Last time you ate a homegrown tomato? I have no idea. I ate some homegrown green beans last time I visited my parents, though.
31. Have you ever won a trophy? Hrm. I have several ribbons and plaques, but no trophies, per se.
32. Are you a good cook? I like to think so. I'm better than some, that's for sure.
33. Do you know how to pump your own gas? Yes, because I have lived somewhere *other* than Oregon. ;p
34. Ever order an article from an infomercial? Nah, I just heckle them.
35. Sprite or 7-up? Sprite!
36. Have you ever had to wear a uniform to work? Not a full-on uniform, but I had a shirt that I was supposed to wear while waitressing.
37. Last thing you bought at a pharmacy? Uh, Noxzema, I think?
38. Ever throw up in public? Actually, no!
39. Would you prefer being a millionaire or find true love? Love is always good. :) What would I do with all that bling bling? (okay, stupid question. But still, Love. Always.)
40. Do you believe in love at first sight? Yes. I feel kind of stupid for it, but yes.
41. Ever call a 1-900 number? I've always thought 1-900 numbers were crap. Especially after working for Miss Cleo that one summer. XD
42. Can exes be friends? It's certainly possible. Sometimes it takes a *lot* of maturity, though.
43. Who was the last person you visited in a hospital? Uh, probably my mom, when I was 5.
44. Did you have a lot of hair when you were a baby? I was BORN with hair, man! It was awesome. :D
45. What message is on your answering machine? "You have reached Cory, Sarah, James, and Kevin's house. Please leave a message, bye!" (those who don't know the Kevin joke, feel free to ask. ::rotfl::)
46. What's your all time favorite Saturday Night Live Character? What, you think I actually *watch* that show? ::asdlkfaskldfhasdkl:: I don't know offhand, but if I had to pick one, it'd be pre-1994.
47. What was the name of your first pet? Cathy and George. Two fishes, bought on the same day. Yes, the names are lame. I was like 4 years old, cut me some slack.
48. What is in your purse? Money, credit cards, receipts, and a tiny mirror/lip gloss thingy. And my cell phone, when I am sans backpack.
49. Favorite thing to do before bedtime? PHAT BRAWLIN' DIABLO ACTION! ::aldkfhasldfhasdklfh:: Or watching MacGyver.
50. What is one thing you are grateful for today? That I 0wnzed my midterm. Aww yea.
51. What is the first concert you ever went to? Spin Doctors/Gin Blossoms, at the tender age of 12. ::asldkfhasdlfha::
52. Vices? I am the hardest-working lazy person I know, which I guess is two vices.
