Okay, WTF is this Microsoft .NET platform that employers keep talking about? It seems that a lot of companies hiring folks to develop web apps are looking for it, and I don't even know what it's used for!

That probably does not bode well. Crap.

At least I'm applying for a jobbyjob as a Flash/Multimedia Designer, although it's in Seattle, and they're giving priority to locals. Sigh. ^^;

Also just woke up, because work last night was brutal. Well, actually, things started out pretty free and easy, until somebody puked all over the other van, and their rides got heaped onto Nate and myself. Didn't get done until 4a.Feh. ;p

The good news? Kinko's didn't hose up my project print. It actually looks really, really cool. *_*

I should probably get my ass in gear, now. Bye!

This is the easiest answer I've figured out how to give. Its not 100% accurate but its not far off.

.Net platform is to microsoft what the Java platform is to Sun.
VB.Net (and C#, and C++.Net, etc) is to microsoft what the Java language is to Sun.
