Today has been nice. Sat through Japanese, and wow, transitive/intransitive verb pairs have the stink of evil. I thought that the Class 1, 2, and 3 verbs were already ridiculous rule-wise, but the transitive/intransitive verb pairs don't even follow a rule at all! Feh. I'm feeling less stupid in that class by the day, though, which must mean that the old material is finally seeping back into my conscious. It's surprising how much you can (temporarily) forget in just a week and a half of not having to think about a given language. It's hard to get back in the swing of it.
After class,
junsiew and I killed about an hour having lunch, and then we randomly decided to shoot some pool. Soup is good. Our finesse at billiards is... less than good. ::rotfl:: It was a nice diversion, though!
Then, I had CIT. Feh. It's looking to be less fun this term, unfortunately--it's sounding like there are fewer opportunities for hands-on work, so it's more about committing a bunch of stuff to memory. Perhaps it's only because it's Week 1? But why the hell did he explain to us what FTP is today? We've only been using it for, oh, *at least* four terms-worth of CIS/CIT courses? ::snerk:: I can't be the only one in the room who knows what it is.
Anyway, here I am at the job. One more hour, and I am free as a bird! Tonight = Survivor, CSI, Japanese homework, and reading for Comm Design. And of *course*, more work on that darn portfolio. Shizz, man.
I think I'm out for now. Foo!
