I am in dire need of badass shoes. My daily-wear stompers are dying the death of a thousand scuffs, and the heels on my tall suedes are now worn down at an angle, so I practically break myself trying to walk in them. SO, last night, I ordered these boots! I actually would have rather gotten the Go-Go Boots, but shoes with zips and no laces are risky for me to buy without trying them on, especially with my mildly burly calf muscles. At least with these, I shouldn't have any problems fitting into them. And I lovelovelove the platform and chunky heels! I won't just be tall, I'll be positively Amazonian! :D

I still need to find some flat shoes, though. Looks like a trip to Payless for my usual cheapo work boots is in order.

I need to film more tonight or tomorrow... I'm not sure when, though. I think I might take the day off from work tomorrow, and drag James out to get some stock footage. And hopefully rantar, god willing. The lighting was kind of sucktacular on my indoor shots.

I have been *so* easily amused for the past 3 days. At work today, Josh kept busting out into random song breaks, and I practically died laughing. Yesterday had me cracking up at some TV shows that I normally cringe at. And everything seemed *way* more hilarious than it probably should have been when I was working on Saturday. What the hell am I on? LMAO!

Yar har! I'm tired. And I'm free from class. So BYE BYE KIDDIES.

Aye, although if you have time during the day tomorrow (say, pre-5pm), that'd be cool, too. That Taiko Ensemble thingy I was going to go to is this week, and I also have a Japanese exam to study for, so the evening will probably be a bit packed.

But yeah, I'll be dragging James around for some stock footage during the day, so if you're around, that'd rock. But it's ok if you can't. My desire to get more shots is 90% me being anal retentive. :)

I'd be careful about buying any kind of shoe like that. Courtnay got a pair of super-ass-tall shoes once for the last TSP show (which put her from 5'2" to 5'8" or so), and couldn't feel her feet for several weeks afterwards.

Well, I tend to be a masochist when it comes to shoes, but I'm always trying to avoid the too-much-heel issue. There's only about a 2.5-inch difference between the heel and the platform, so that's right in my optimal range for tall stompers. :)

Plus, finding a size 11 in any non-ugly women's shoe is a total bitch, so I can't be *too* picky. ^^;;;
