Haha, silly story behind the fairly simple quote--perhaps I'll tell it later.

Did a late lunch with [livejournal.com profile] junsiew earlier. Good stuff. :) She seemed to appreciate the car, because we didn't have to walk all the way over from Riley in the pouring rain. I was going to help her make mochi this evening, too, but I started feeling sick again, so I opted to stay home. I have work in half an hour, so I should try to stay well.

I got my crazy mop of hair cut before coming home, though. I think it's a more dramatic change than last time, but nobody has noticed yet without me telling them. ::rotfl:: Although, to everyone's credit, all but one of the people I've seen post-cut were mired in an RP session when I came by, which tends to bring down the level of observation. :)

I just made some teriyaki. I cooked the chicken in a different manner than last time, and wow, it's good! :D

Bleee, don't wanna go to work. Still, I should probably get ready. I think I might swing by Dutch Bros. on my way over--I'll need some help staying awake (mmm, caffeine), and James is a freakin' Dutch Bros. evangelist, so I suppose I should finally give them a shot. :)

i actually used to know all the maintenance routes through campus. you can get ANYWHERE through theunderground tunnels and what-not although you're not supposed to use a lot of them. i used to use them back when we had a very active sniper game running in the UI. i won. ;-)
