I'm thinking a group excursion is in order, because I am a big nerd.

But I am NOT a Harry Potter fangirl. I have not read the books. I do not read Harry Potter slash.

never saw the first movie. althoguh it got rave reviews from peeps here at work, all of them were fangirls (even the boys). nobody i know who wasn't already into Harry Potter gave it a decent review so it didn't rank very high with me. :-/

wasn't planning on seeing the second one. are they actually good? it looked like too much special effects and not enough substance.

Heh, I thought the first one was pretty cute and fun. It's not exactly something that I'd want to see 10000 times in the theater or anything, but seeing it once with a horde of friends was worth the $7. :)

This is all bearing in mind that I am relatively easy to please, of course. ^^; (as cranky as I often get, I'm not actually *that* picky about movies, and if I see it with the right people, then that can improve the whole experience.)

totally relate to the peeps making the movie. hell, i saw id4 like 8 times in the theatre ebcause my friends and i all ahd it memorized. once i stood up in the middle fo the theatre and did "the speech". the other peeps in the theatre laughed. it was a late showing and not many epople there...

well, if i find a cool group of peeps giong i might attend.
