Random stuff I forgot to mention before
Oct. 29th, 2001 11:37 pmWhile I wait eons for my digital imaging assignment to print out, I'm recalling some stuff I meant to post about before.
While inside of Spencer's Gifts at Gateway Mall on Friday, I got a bizarre urge to make a costume upon seeing a Spongebob Squarepants plush doll. ::rotfl:: It doesn't get much weirder than dressing up as a sea sponge who lives inside of a pineapple. Although I think the sheer volume of poly-fil that it would involve would probably suffocate me. ::asdlfkasdflkhlk:: P.S. I blame Boss-chan for this! ;p
I went and downloaded "Clint Eastwood" by Gorillaz on Saturday. Why? Because while he was visiting, David had both Cory and me watch the very cool animated video for said track, and it got stuck in my head for all eternity. And of course, they used it in the soundtrack for tonight's Angel ep, so now it's stuck in my head AGAIN. Damn you, David Johnston, damn you to hell! :O
Print print print, all day long. Print print print while I sing this song.
I'm quoting Cibo Matto on one of my homework photos. I wigged everyone out earlier because I was taking photos of beef jerky in the palm of my hand. Cory walked in and was all: "Now that's some really Tyler Durden-ish crap you're doing there!"
I should probably explain the short and sweet back story behind that comment. Cory likes to compare me to Tyler Durden because I'll often mention some random weirdo project I'm doing for school or personal stuff or whatever, and it's so out of left field that he feels like Ed Norton's character in Fight Club when all the unexplained Project Mayhem stuff is going on in his house. He said it was especially like this last spring when I was doing Gamex IV, cos I'd be caravaning through the apartment with people carrying random stuff. ::rotfl:: I think it's hilarious, and also really, really cool.
Mufufufufu. Certain things seem like they might actually go in a non-horrifying direction. I guess I'm not really surprised that things are looking up, but I am quite the worrier when you get me going, so of course I sit there expecting the worst. In fact, I am still sitting here preparing for the worst, because it's kind of my nature to do so. ^^;;;; Je suis dork. Well, nothing's set in stone yet, but we'll see how stuff pans out.
I think I would like to see K-PAX this weekend. Those free movie passes are still burning a hole in my wallet! And the commercials for it amuse me. :D Quote from MBTV that cracked me up: "K-PAX sounds like a feminine hygiene product to me." And it actually kinda does, too, when you think about it. ::rotfl:: But I won't hold it against them. :)
