Check out Blogger's commentary about LJ in the Webby Awards. Pretty rude if you ask me... we're just users who are proud of and satisfied with what LJ has to offer us. What's wrong with that?
Oh, and Mr. Webcam is on again.
Amendment: Go vote for The Onion in the Humour category! I'd really like to see them win too, because they ROCK.

Some people...

The "we don't care" attitude is smashed to bits by the link and even mention of the Webby Awards... if they didn't care, why did they post about it? Or worse, why did they make a link to it? Not to mention that I've seen dozens of blogger citizens posting about the same thing. Does that make them "pushing and prodding?" No, it doesn't. It makes them people who are happy enough with their service that they'd go out of their way to vote for it.
LJers are the same: we love our service, so we're voting. The only reason we were upset in the first place is because LJ wasn't listed at all, even though it is a prominent online journal website.
I get a whole feeling of "holier than thou" attitude from that post... and I really hate that sort of attitude. I'd rather they just get into the spirit of things, like we over at LJ have. It makes the whole place feel... cozy... since we're all pitching in to do our part. That's a good thing.
