One more bit of stress was lifted from my shoulders after tonight's final concert. We all had our worries and doubts about how well we'd do, but we pulled through just fine. :D And the pieces we did with the guys were much fun too.

After that was dinner at the Glenwood... I was about ready to keel over, between not having eaten anything for 8 hours, and holding a high B (as in the B that's about two octaves above middle C) for, uh, 10 measures or so at the end of the last song? It was a LONG-ASS NOTE. Dan was nice and paid for everybody for dinner.

I can't decide on two things now: A) Should I try out for U Singers, and B) If I did try out for U Singers, would I want to do Alto II or Soprano I? I'm *obviously* pre-disposed to be Alto II, but my Soprano I is without chest voice and is probably more indicative of the time I've spent making my voice better as a whole. ::shrugs:: I have no idea. I probably won't even do A. because it might not even fit my schedule.

Anyways, this looks to be my last post of the day. Huzzah and stuff. Tomorrow will be for M4D research time and perhaps some paper writing.

Wow, nice range :) I sing Alto II to Soprano II but am an Alto just because I am more fond of harmonies than melodies. Altos are the meat, oh yes :) But I think you should try out just because. Trying out doesn't mean you HAVE to do it, it's just something to see if you can. And maybe you should let the director tell you what they feel you are best suited for in the group. Maybe they need more Sopranos than Altos. But I say go for it :)
