batskeetsDan and Aleisha ran into us on our way out, so we all had a nice little dinner at the Glenwood. After that, we bopped on over to the Bijou to see the movie, and we got the last few seats left.
I *loved* how they filmed this movie, the way they had the plot work through itself in a non-linear fashion. It was very effective, and a good choice, b/c I think the story wouldn't have been nearly as powerful if they'd done a standard, linear-time-based sequence of events. This is definitely one of those freaky flicks that makes you think after it's all over. Very satisfying, yet odd and perplexing. I enjoyed it muchly.
Now, I am eating ice cream and enjoying being awake. We had an invigorating walk there and back. I'm pretty pumped up right now.
Side Note: Taylor's is a very scary little bar. I swear, you can smell the stink of evil emanating from that place just walking past it. I suspect that most girls who get drunk there would be subjected to lots of frat boy smarm. ::rotfl::
