Bleep bloop blah
Mar. 23rd, 2001 03:06 pmPutting in my last few hours at the office for the week. I am amazingly on-the-ball for this term's updates, and I thusly have very little to do right now. I astound myself sometimes. Next week will be harrowing, though... I will be working during the latter part of the week, and longer hours, and it sounds like Dan is hoping to have the new web server ready for me, so I can start transferring the web site over to it. I may also implement the new site design I made a while back, while I'm at it. I work hard for the money, doo doot doo doot.
This weekend will be spent in... Grant's Pass. I'm not sure how to take that. I would very much like to spend some time at home just taking five and enjoying life, and getting some things done here at the house, but I guess that idea's out the window between being out of town til Tuesday, and working the longer hours after I get back. Sheeshy! Ma doesn't even want me to go either, because she thinks I'll get sick again because of all the cigarette smoke. ::sigh:: It's hard to keep people happy sometimes.
Crap, I just remembered that people were planning on watching eXistenZ tonight at our place, but I won't be there! I read about it online after Felicia mentioned it, and it sounds like my cup of tea. Who wouldn't want to see a creepy-weird movie touting VR, computer games, and Jude Law? ^_- SIGH.
Well, maybe I can convince James that it'd be better to leave tomorrow instead. It's kind of true... I think he pulled an all-nighter last night because of that blasted Probability Models project, and I'm certainly not at *my* normal alertness level today. Unsafe driving is bad, mmkay?
