It looks like I came out with a B in Tools 1, which is irritating, because I could have gotten an A- were it not for the attendance grade. And the attendance grade itself is irritating, because the prof said during the FIRST WEEK that, because some people might be at a more advanced level, that if we were doing fine on the assignments without coming to class, then we didn't need to come to class at all. Grrr.

Although, to be fair, I should also point out that, were it not for my idiotic blunder of completely missing the first online quiz, my quiz points would have *also* given me an A-. It's not an online class though, so why the online quiz? That irks me.

The forecast looks very good for Tools 2, especially after the in-class acclaim that I got for my Flash project, and I think I'm square in Art History too. Choir and Jazz are both fine, of course... they're the fun classes. :D

Going to the bank soon, to deposit a check, and then I'll come home at try out my new Pilates video at some point this evening! Should be fun!

I have a nosey question to ask. What school are you at again, and studying precisely what? Your classes all sound so fun...

I'm at the U of Oregon studying Multimedia Design :D It's a new program as of this past fall, so they're still kinda working the kinks out a little.

Wow.

It still completely blows my mind that you are in college and only taking FIVE classes. I always thought that going to college would involve taking a good eight or nine at a time... It's NOT FAIR, Skeetles (taste the rainbow, yo!) that you, a college student, are having a much easier time in school than I, a rinky-dink high school sophomore, am. Curse you.

Small child! You do not need four limbs and a body to be a success!

okay, wrong script.

Seriously, though, fewer classes does *not* mean easier time. You take fewer classes in college because you don't have to take the wide spectrum of language, arts, sciences, mathematics, etc. like you are in high school. College, however, expects you to do a TON of out-of-class work to get the grades. It's *very* common for your average college kid to experience a drop in GPA between high school and college. Why? Because it's harder.
