Tonight

Tonight was the Gaming Club meeting, in which many, many minutes were spent discussing Gamex. Squee. I'm incredibly pleased with how things are going so far, actually. People are being really helpful and supportive! I'm sure this year's Gamex is going to be a lot of fun.

Scary prospect: I may actually be GMing a role-playing game at Gamex, in addition to my Minion Hunter duties. It looks like it's gonna be either Big Eyes, Small Mouth, or Teenagers From Outer Space. Note that the only reason I'm really considering this is because both are anime games, and I have more than enough anime background to make up an appropriately goofy story. I've never actually GMed before in my life. x_x

ANYWAYS, after the meeting, a group of us went downtown to have dinner at Misako. Japanese food is so neat. :D Well, the non-sushi stuff, anyway. I wasn't feeling adventurous so much as I was feeling just plain hungry, so I decided on a Teriyaki Chicken entree, but I had some interesting appetizers! Gyoza was yummy, and there were these other pea pod type things that were actually really good. Quote of the night: "Tae Kwon Sushi?!" A mis-hearing by James. :D There were probably a million quotables this evening. ::lmao::

Now is the time to make the Gamex web site. This could prove interesting.

The peapod things are called edemame. :)

They're salted soy beans and are quite good and good for you. Just in case you were wondering :)

Cool! I was trying to remember what those were called! For being such an anime freak, I know depressingly little about Japanese cuisine. ^^;
