I think Apple (specfically Steve Jobbs) has lost their freaking mind. I have an ibook (which I love) and I want an Imac. I knew they were releasing the new ones so I waited....argh. Really wishing I had just gotten the ruby one and forgotten about it ;)
Well you might be in luck... I believe I heard that the old ones (ruby, sage, etc.) are being sold at a reduced rate, now that the new ones are out! :D
And yes, they *are* nuts. I don't WANT a hippie-fied computer! ;_;
LOL! That's the one that bugs me the most. Go fig! ^^;;
And yeah, Macs really suck for things like gaming. One of my insanely pro-Mac friends actually built himself a PC box for the sole purpose of playing games. O_o;; Wish I had that kind of money to burn.
Not only are they ugly, but they are so friggin... FUGLY!
I would have chosen to make colours such as burgundy, golden yellow, coppery orange, slate blue, and clear. The number one rule of computer colours is that they are colours, NOT patterns, >_
yes especially the flowery one. ugh. a little too much, maybe if it was simpler it would be ok. the blue polka dot looks ok but you never know. but why would the people who have a cool job like that pick that, you know?
Well,
Date: 2001-02-22 01:41 pm (UTC)I think the flowered one is muchly cool, although I hate iMacs after working at a newspaper for a year that ran on them.
She thinks the old ones are much cuter although she likes the new Indigo. So there you go! :-D
