I'm back from my trip as of now! It was quite fun... not exactly what I expected in some instances, but very worth the trip. The party last night was a lot of fun. Everyone was cool, laid-back, and kind, and people had fun despite the fact that the vast majority of us didn't even know each other. :D I got preeetty wasted too for a while, mostly due to the shot of 151 that I had. No puking though, just some fogginess and stumbling around. ^_- There was some good dancing too. I got lots of compliments on my "1337" shirt. But I'm not much of a hax0r, so that part was odd to explain to people.

Today's trip to Uwajimaya was *awesome*. It's a freakin' Mecca for fans of anything Japanese. *_* I bought a hide CD (Psychommunity) and one by Luna Sea (Lunacy). Listened to them in the car, and both kick large amounts of booty. :D Had a good lunch at this place called Chinoise too. I took off for home around 4ish, after having my stomach complaining continually throughout the morning. I kind of wanted to stay longer, but it was probably a good idea for me to get my arse back home before I got *really* sick.

It's Felicia's b-day party right now, and it's a small, pleasant gathering. She plans on having us all watch EVERY SINGLE STAR TREK MOVIE. O_O! This should be interesting.

It DOES!! There's one up in Beaverton (near Portland) and that one was okay, but I was *so* impressed with the Seattle Uwajimaya. *_* I've never seen so much Asian paraphernalia in one place before!

i used to go tot he one in Beaverton once a week (as wella s Anzen until they closed) when i worked in Portland.

i live above the one in Seattle. having Kinokuniya so close is dangerous. i've already got 1 VIP card and halfway to a second one... now i just need to spend mroe time home so i can actually practice more stuff from my Japanese cookbooks. ^_^ the only thing i've gotten good at so far is making mochi dishes, soups, and yuan salmon. i've developed a bad habit of using dashi crystals in almsot every beef dish i cook though now. it just tastes so good!
