Like a boss
Oct. 21st, 2011 05:13 pmAnother day, another photoshoot and Wordpress install, heh. I have a lot of pretty photos to edit for clients, and I definitely *want* to edit them, which is good! But, I also really need a day off soon.
I definitely need a strategy for getting the word out about my 1337 design. People are aware that I'm a photographer--and they *still* ask me about doing their weddings, even though I'm not really doing those anymore, heh--and some folks also know that I'm an internet ninja, but I definitely need to place more emphasis on the visual side of my ninja skills, and less on the development side.
But, yeah, the main thing is makin' buck$, which I am most definitely doing. Marketing myself as a higher-end product is still pretty scary, but I'm worth it. I think that, once I get enough visibility going for myself, it'll work out.
And, here's a pretty photo I already *have* edited. Eyelash extensions are serious business, and I'm now 100% certain I'd never have the patience to perform that service, and 99% certain I'd never have the patience to receive it. The beauty services industry is definitely not my bag.
