"Never allow someone to be your priority, while allowing yourself to be their option."

Eleven hours of sleep meant a much-improved mood, if not a healthier body. I still felt like a pile of nasty, but I at least felt like a reasonably-content pile of nasty.

Today was also a good exercise in saying No to things, which ended in lots of time to myself at home. I baked like a crazy man in preparation for tomorrow, watched some excellent TV, drank lots of hot tea, and enjoyed my fancy living room chair. Yes, friends do understand when you need time. The good ones do.

Tomorrow will be excellent. Busted furnace aside, my house will feel like home. I have a lot to be thankful for. :)
