For those who might have wondered where I disappeared to over the weekend, we got a surprise beach house invitation. I was pretty conflicted, because there were already a ton of cool things happening on Saturday, but the opportunity to escape normal life for a night finally won me over.
So, we were off to Lincoln City on Saturday evening, to meet up with Miles and Morgan at the beach house they had access to for the weekend. We played some games, tossed back some drinks, and engaged in some post-midnight frolicking on the beach. We didn't get to really see it until Sunday morning, but the house basically had beach for a backyard, and the view was *amazing*.
There was much silliness, the occasional Epic Wedgie, and a fairly ridiculous pushup contest that I actually did pretty well in, until I started laughing too hard to push up. ;) I am also apparently still quite awesome at Egyptian Rat Screw, bwahaha. Morgan made enchiladas, too, and oh, MAN. Everyone should make it a policy to make Mexican food before they drink. It certainly beats the hell out of Taco Bell.
Also, Halibut fish and chips wins over Cod. The End.
Tonight is Repo!, which makes me feel slightly better about missing karaoke, because at least I still get to see most of y'all. :) And tomorrow is, apparently, a day off, because it's Veteran's Day. Hot damn.
