Shoot 'em up
Jul. 24th, 2008 11:14 amHoly crap. How did I ever live without Design Float? It's like Digg, but specifically for design, and without all the stupid crap. I added it to my RSS feeds maybe two days ago, and I've already bookmarked a ton of resources through it. LOVE IT.
Shoot yesterday actually happened! Everyone was late due to traffic, but we weren't working outdoors, so it wasn't a big deal. We'd worked with the model before, but it was for a magazine shoot where we didn't really have any creative control. Turns out she likes the edgy/weird stuff just as much as I do, so we got some rad shots. Must, must work with her again.
( One Shot )
I'm really glad I got some of my creative mojo out with last night's shoot, because we have a TON of weddings over the next couple of weeks. Don't get me wrong, weddings require plenty of creativity, too, but it's creativity of a different sort than what you get with studio shooting. Event shooting is more about capturing what's there in an interesting way, rather than giving birth to an idea or a concept.
And, I'm spent.
