Oh my god SHUT UP.
Mar. 20th, 2008 12:24 pmMaybe I'm being overly cranky or cynical, but friggin' Geico called me to follow up on the car situation. All they really said was that the other guy's car was being taken care of, which, hooray for them, I guess. ::eyeroll::
And then they ask if everything is going okay for ME! Seriously, what am I supposed to say to that? "Why, my significant other could have DIED, my car is hosed, and we have to pay for someone else's shitty driving, but GEE I'M DOING SWELL THANKS!"
Unless they're calling to say, "surprise, we will fix your car for free!" I really don't need to hear from them, and I certainly don't need any fake concern or sympathy. That does precisely NOTHING to help me. Yeah, THANKS FOR NOTHING, GEICO. God.
Anyway, I'll stop my complaining and share photos from the show a couple Saturdays ago:

I think those last two are my favorites, but they were done pre-show, so the lights were up higher. I really liked the effect that the colored lights brought to the shot, but they turned all the lighting down once the show started, so I had to use hot-shoe flash the rest of the time. Boo-urns.
That's all.
