OKAY. It has been a crazy-go-nuts few days, but here I am in the driver's seat again.
--Fashion shoot on Saturday. For some reason, none of my e-mails with the actual details of the shoot got through to our awesome stylist, and the weather made it impossible to shoot outside like I'd wanted, so both stylist and I had to improvise on the spot. It went for a long time, due to said improv, but the results are awesome.
--Another shoot on Sunday, with even less planning ahead, but we teamed up for this one, so most of the burden as photographer was thankfully off my shoulders. Those also turned out cool!
--Event shoot on Sunday night, with me flying solo and shooting a bunch of drag performers and burlesque dancers. The people were nice and high-energy, and the fact that I'm getting paid makes up for my shoulders still being sore, after holding my camera up to my face for 3 hours straight.
I am still tired and crabby today, but doing all right otherwise. Today is wushu, so my crabbiness may help me with negotiating the whole belt levels issue. I have a bad tendency to be too nice with these sorts of dealings, so a bit of crabby might help me put my foot down. :)

dnelson is visiting, and that ain't bad either! There is talk of a Rheinlander/Gustav's outing while he's here. Mmmm, German gut-bomb goodness.
