Roll for initiative, monkey boy!
Mar. 7th, 2008 09:28 amI'm sure everyone who cares has heard about Gary Gygax's passing by now, and I think XKCD got the last, best word on the topic. You know you love it.
It's a TGIF kind of day. The short version of yesterday:
* did semi-difficult photoshoot at a local cafe. No flash, so I had to pump the ISO. Boo-urns.
* randomly ran into a former co-worker while I was there! I walked through the door and the first thing I saw was her looking right back at me, heh. She even knows the girl that I went there to photograph, too.
* went to NW for a final send-off for the San Diego-based Cirque people. It was fun, but I think we were all completely exhausted, so definitely lower-key. So silly.
* came home, watched a South Park ep, and crashed.
I look forward to doing wushu after work today, and then doing NOTHING after that. After the non-stop pace of this past week or so, we've earned a night of lazy.
Oh yeah, belt test tomorrow. Gah! I think Master Gao knows that I'm up on my forms, so even if I do mess up, I still expect to come home as a newly-minted red belt. Then I should be learning two-man sparring set! I kind of wish I could just go work on compulsory sets, but sparring set will be fun, too. Not particularly productive from a competition standpoint, but fun.
Blah. I'm too braindead to be interesting today, so I'll sign off for now. ;)
