YOUR HEAD A-SPLODE.
Mar. 4th, 2008 09:47 amOMG SO BUSY. I've been shooting so much these past few days that I feel like my camera should just be permanently grafted to my face. But if I did that, I'd rather it be a 1D Mark III, instead of my wimpy little Rebel XT. I mean, if you're going to be stuck with one camera for the rest of your life, might as well make it the best. Right now, I'd settle for a 5D.
Speaking of, if we get a few more wedding bookings, we are likely upgrading to a 5D. HELL NAW, that'd be awesome!
In the realm of fun things, nobody came to friggin' poker night on Saturday except for Nathan, so I wound up hanging with him and some friends of his down in SE. Honestly, that was fine by me, because I'd rather spend $10 on beer than poker, given that I pretty much suck at poker. ;)
I got to meet lots of fun people yesterday, through a weekend gig we got for Cirque du Soleil! Ben wound up shooting the actual gig, because I had a ton of other things already booked for Saturday, but I still got to meet everybody at a get-together last night. Some of them are from San Diego, so it's a bummer that they aren't close-by, but maybe we'll see more of the local folks sometime. :) It was much fun!
Anyhoo, back to work with me. (you don't want to get me started about The Job today, believe me ;p)
