Sort of a summary, I guess?

phasmaphobic! Oh, snap.
Ten things that have made me happy recently:
* Selling packages and booking photo gigs sooner than expected!
* Having the 80000 meetings and conference calls of these past two weeks behind me, at LAST.
* Free lunch, even if I had to suffer through a 4.5-hour meeting to get it
* Watching episodes of Dexter and Freaks and Geeks, because they are both awesome.
* Finding new music that I actually like from an unexpected source
* Having a free Sunday and a relatively easy weekend for the first time in a while!
* Having a far less doofy haircut than I did 24 hours ago
* The Boy, just because. :)
* Getting a new stove and oven at the house
* Knowing that we'll have a super-comfy chaise longue in the house soon
Speaking of the comfy chair, does anyone else get annoyed when a mispronunciation or some incorrect terminology becomes so pervasive in the modern vernacular that YOU have to say it wrong, too, or else nobody will know WTF you're talking about?
Chaise longue is a good example of that. Everyone calls it a "Chaise lounge," which was originally a misspelling of the actual term, which is French for "long chair." But, if I call it a chaise longue instead of a chaise lounge, most folks don't pick up on what I'm actually referring to.
BOO-URNS. Saying things wrong shouldn't become "correct" by the sheer power of mass ignorance.
And, I'm spent.
