Man, I can't remember the last time an illness got me quite this bad. As of right now, I'm drowning in snot, it hurts to talk, my face appears to be swollen and puffy, and there are about half a dozen cold sores beginning to form in my mouth. It's like this one cold is overcompensating to make up for all the other colds and flus that other people caught, but I somehow dodged. WTF?
Yeah, I know, too much information. ;p Anyhoo, I *am* back at work today, but I'm definitely not thrilled about it.
With me being all dead and such, the last two evenings have been lazy movie nights, and it's been a subtitle-fest: Angel-A was not what we expected, based on the cover, but it turned out to be a good story with sympathetic characters, and we both enjoyed it quite a bit. We followed that up with La Otra Conquista, and I must admit I was having trouble staying awake, but that's more my fault than the movie's. I suspect it'd merit a re-watch when I'm less dead, because there were some powerful bits that I *was* awake for.
Last night, we opted for Casshern, which was about what I expected from a live-action redux of a Japanese anime feature, so I liked it, but I'm into that sort of thing. The subtitle translations seemed pretty dubious in some places, which is too bad, because the story and motivations might've made more sense otherwise. But, it was freakin' *gorgeous* visually, and I can't stress that enough. GORGEOUS!
In other news, the election madness now begins in earnest: today is the Iowa caucus! :O I may very well go nuts waiting for the results to come in.
Because I am A) bored, and B) a sheep, here's a survey:

That's all for now. I don't know how I'm going to get any work done today. Feh.
