I can has New Year Party?

We're looking to do a New Year's Party! We're also looking to plan it with some other folks. I've bounced the notion around with Amy so far, but if any of you has ideas, thoughts, things to bring, or venues for said party, let me know. (default venue is our house)

So far, my thoughts include:
--Karaoke Revolution... or Rock Band, if someone's willing to bring it!
--Potluck dinner/party snackage
--Burning an item from 2007 that represents something you'd like to leave behind in 2008
--Since we're already burning stuff, making S'mores in the fireplace
--Board games, party games, Wii games, etc.

Also, let me know if you'd make an appearance! :) We'll send out official invites soonish.

EDIT: Or, if you are having/know of a kick-ass party that we should attend instead, let me know that, too!
