You know, when I read things like this, it really freaks me out. How can laws like that get PASSED? Do our elected officials not read the bills? I'm not sure what frightens me more: the idea that our representatives are *that* unaware of the laws they're passing, or the idea that they *are* aware and simply don't give a rat's ass about the people.
Definitely write your congressman and give them a wake-up call. I did!
And speaking of, you have to love how the GOP is all, "Science? Hogwash!" I've read a lot of stuff more recently, and it basically shows that, if science proves something that goes against the current administration's policy, they're more than happy to do whatever they can to cast doubt upon even the most irrefutable studies.
Seriously, do people buy into that garbage? It's a scary thought.
And finally, I was unexpectedly cut from the runway show, as of late last night. If you haven't already read the Friends-only version, feel free. :p
