"Why do you hate America?"
Mar. 2nd, 2007 10:48 amBefore too much longer, you will be required to have a national ID card, or you won't be allowed to board a plane. And your personal information will be stored in a magnetic strip. That may also be NOT ENCRYPTED. Wave bye-bye to freedom, kids! :p
I'm still scarred over Borat. I really don't understand the appeal, you guys. But, apparently, at least some of y'all don't get it, either, so that's comforting. Thank jeebus I didn't pay to watch it.
Star Trek XI seems like it could very well suck. I was a bit bothered to hear that J.J. Abrams is directing and producing, but I'm mainly just bitter because both Lost and Alias spiraled downward into suckage after their first/second seasons. The man cannot plan out a series for the long-term, I swear. But, since this is a 90-minute movie and not 20+ hour-long episodes, he *might* pull it off. Well, as long as the Matt Damon rumor isn't true.
In other annoyances, I have to run a check for my CMAT registration fees over to campus today, because Club Sports is weird and anal-retentive, and we apparently "weren't supposed to" use club funds to pay for our registration fees, even though I *know* we have done so in the past. WTF is the money for, if not that? Rrrgh.
I couldn't find the kung fu group yesterday, much to my dismay. I found the building, but I went inside and all I found was a group of girls practicing dance. The guy just e-mailed me, and apparently they were in a room that was upstairs and way in the back of the building. :( Beh, I'll try again next week, I suppose.
Someone is coming to check out my room today. She sounds nice and she has a cute little dog, so I have high hopes. If she flakes on me like the last three people have, however, I may very well flip out and burn the whole village. ;p
Yeah, it's a TGIF sort of day. Hurhur!
