I'm so pumped about how well the team did at Collegiates!! I wasn't sure if that'd happen, because I wasn't able to physically see it, but it did, and I find myself wanting to go out there and own face at CMAT! I don't know if that's even possible at this relatively late juncture, because training takes sustained effort over a longer period of time, but I'll try.

I want to go on a diet. Yeah, I'm terrible at dieting and it tends to drive me nuts, but I haven't been taking very good care of my body as of late, so if I have to reign myself in for a little bit so I can get stronger, then that's what needs to happen. I also want to keep up with running. Aerobic exercise is going to help my overall health, and nothing kicks my butt quite like running does.

I'm still really gun-shy about the whole training thing, though. I got all pumped up after Collegiates last year, started doing all this crazy stuff, and wound up overtraining, and rendered my legs dull and dead for two or three solid weeks. I *really* don't want to do that again. I want to feel strong when I hit the carpet, or at least stronger than I did last year. I think I have a pretty good idea of what I can work on safely, so I'll take that on, and see how it goes.

So, hrm. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I will err on the side of caution. I did finish learning my broadsword form last night, so now I have a whole month to fine-tune. :D I thought it'd take a lot longer than that, so I'm happy!
