I don't need no stinking console games

While everyone's all hyped over Wii or PS3, I see a banner ad for Civilization Chronicles and start nerding out. ::rotfl:: I have fond memories of playing Civ on my dad's old 486; or maybe even before that on the 286 we had kicking around. I missed the boat on Civ II, but later got ahold of Civ: Call to Power and eventually Civ III. Civ is computer game crack!

Ended up watching Some Like It Hot last night. Apparently it had been touted as the "#1 comedy of all time" by a few sources, so we had to put that to the test :) #1 Comedy of All Time seems a bit much, but it was silly and fun.

I have to go to the store and get foodstuffs to cook with tomorrow. Any grocery store will be a nightmarish experience, I'm sure, but I'll live. I'll also see if anyone actually comes to wushu tonight, and if not, I'll probably just do some weights, and then go home and relax. Then I can get the WoW time that I didn't get last night. ;)

Tasering that student for what he did (which was basically nothing) was a completely unneccessary use of force. The students who witnessed it knew that, or they wouldn't have been asking the officers to stop, or requesting their badge numbers.

And *threatening* a bystander with the taser for requesting badge numbers? Just plain ridiculous.
