I covet this lens! Yeah, I'm not going to get it anytime soon, but I found it when I was looking into telephoto lenses the other day, and then the salesdude at Shutterbug also recommended it...

So wow, news: the model we shot with for my current Favorite Shoot Ever apparently will be doing some kind of TV bio appearance or something, and she wants to use some of our photos for the appearance. I don't think it's going to be really high-profile or anything, because she's not super-well-known (well, not yet, anyway), but still, a photo that I took is going to be on TV! I guess she's been raving about how awesome we are and telling all her industry buddies to check out our website, so that's very cool for us. :)

Last night, I actually had time to watch Doctor Who and get some freelancing done. It wasn't exactly a relaxing evening, but at least I got to watch some TV for 40 minutes or so. ;p David Tennant plays The Doctor differently, of course, so that'll take some getting used to, but I don't dislike his take on the role, thus far.

In other news, our refrigerator at the house went into its final death throes late last week, so we got a new fridge on Monday. It's black and it's *huge*! On the down side, though, I lost a good bit of food to spoilage from the dying refrigerator, so I keep remembering things that I thought I had on hand, but actually don't anymore. :( The more expensive stuff got saved, though, at least, so I still have meats and cheeses and fresh produce to play around with.

Ethnic Gourmet meals were on sale at the store yesterday, so I tried the Palak Paneer for dinner last night, and it was actually not bad, as frozen meals go! It also was pretty low-calorie, and yet still filling, so if the Chicken Tikka Masala is also good, I might have to keep some on hand for too-busy-to-cook days. :)
