HELP PLEASE: I am in *dire* need of a good spam filter for my domain e-mail account. I'm currently using Mozilla Thunderbird to check that mail... does anyone have suggestions for spam filters I can try out?
Wushu practice was good yesterday. More compulsories for meeee. David also had the same idea I did about doing mirror basics, so we drilled 'em good. I think I'll feel good enough about my ankle to bust out some jumps at the Foreign Language Day demo tomorrow. I really should buy a brace, though. I keep meaning to, but then I get busy with other things.
After practice, I got a voice mail from Ben with the promise of karaoke! So, I showered and met up with them for that. They had some trouble figuring out where to go, at first, and when I met up with them, they were at the Rock'n Rodeo, which apparently has a karaoke contest every Wednesday. As in, one with actual prize money if you win! We listened to a couple of people compete who were really effin' good, and decided that scene was a liiiiittle too intimidating for us, so we ended up at the Red Lion.
There weren't a lot of people at the Red Lion, it being Wednesday night and all, but that was actually kind of good, because the rotation was short, so we each got to do 3 songs, even though we didn't get there until well after 11:00p. Note to self: "What's Up" by 4 Non-Blondes? Not the best choice. ^^; We got some props from the other karaoke-heads for picking really fun songs, but I think Michael (a.k.a. Ben/David/Jenny's new roommate) gets most of the credit for that; I don't think he's picked a bad one yet.
In other news, I'm thinking that I'll be going to karaoke *yet again* with
divadrummer on Friday night, after I do my Friday Five-Man guild instance run. That'll be the third time I've done karaoke in the span of a week, so I dare say I've got the karaoke bug. Hence, why karaoke now gets its own tag... muahaha!
That's all I've got. ::poof!::
P.S. this comic should *not* be that funny, but it is. XD
