"...that's it?"
Oct. 31st, 2005 01:37 pmStockton was quite a whirlwind; lots of time on the road, and not much time to sit back. The bed at the Marriott was *horrible*, and I had to drive 7-8 hours home on the worst night's sleep I've had all year. ;p The wedding was nice, though, and the bride's family is very sweet.
Unfortunately, it was about 12:45am when we got home, so that meant no parties on Saturday night. :p Either of the parties I was thinking of going to would have probably been shutting down by the time I put on all my Yuna gear and drove across town to either party.
And, even if the party was still going, I was tired from having not slept well all week, and from the crappy Marriott bed.
So, for my Halloween weekend festivities, I slept for 11 hours.
And? It was TOTALLY WORTH IT. ;p

Sunday was good fun;
craftyran hosted a get-together that was part-Halloween party and part-guild meetup. (yeah, it helps when half the guild lives within 2 hours' drive of each other ;p) Low-key and fun, full of snackage, and both Ran and
numfar dressed up as their flighty night elf characters! :D I was rather amazed that they created night elf ears of a proper size that weren't constantly falling off or pointing in funny directions.
After that, I played FFX-2 for a few hours to unwind, and get in the spirit of my costumery. :) And watched Monk.
------------------
Today has been pretty okay so far. I started off the day with a company meeting that was also a sort of Halloween brunch. Haven't heard the results of the costume contest yet, but seeing as I'm one of the few people who actually wore a costume, maybe I'll get lucky. :)
I'm kind of ready to go home and put my normal clothes back on, but eh, I'll live in the meantime.
Wushu tonight. Gotta burn off all the junky food I ate this weekend! (my stomach still hurts just thinking about it ;p)
