More Hurricane Katrina Aid: A batch of survivors will be arriving in Portland, soon; here are some ways you can help on a more local scale. It seems to be widely agreed that the government botched the aid process in this disaster... which is all the more reason why people like us need to pitch in where we can.

I'm thinking I may donate some health supplies, myself; I have unusued money in my health reimbursement account, and it seems like a better use for some of that money than, say, buying myself 1000 or so doses of Claritin. (can you tell that they screwed up my deduction amount? I thought you could ;p) The only real issue is how to get the supplies up there...

Part of the new One-Dart tradition is that a "trophy" was drawn of a particular person who plays in the game at least semi-regularly. The trophy doesn't change until the person whose portrait is on the trophy actually wins it. So, it's our goal to make the trophy at least slightly embarrassing for the subject of the latest drawing. :D

I finally went back to Taiji yesterday! I didn't do very well--probably because I was out for almost two weeks--but my ankle held up very well. This is happy-making. :D
