"I'm Spartacus!"
Mar. 21st, 2005 02:26 pmThis game is insane, but oddly amusing.
Weekend was good. Yay!
Friday involved dinner out with
giggles7984,
mosslily,
shannidee,
thatguywill, and
twinki79, and how sad is it that I alphabetized those LJ usernames? (or even knew them all? ::rotfl::) Anyway, dinner was followed by some drinking, shooting pool (very badly), and hanging out. Oh yeah, and the few of us that were left at that point watched School of Rock, which was cute. Good times, good times. Everybody looked great and happy--I am loving Shannon's and Emily's current hair! Not that I've recently been thinking a lot about hair-dos, or anything. ::cough::
I also finally got to spend a few minutes with Jen and Justin's wee one, which was a slightly bizarre experience, considering the fact that this baby is the son of, basically, my surrogate little brother. Even more bizarre was the fact that the baby is named James, which throws me off, because the first thing that comes to *my* mind when someone says "James" is defintiely not babies. (perhaps I should rephrase that...? ::rotfl::) But all senseless babble aside, that was one cute and happy baby. Aaawwww. :)
Saturday involved an obligatory stop at Fry's, because it *is* right on the way back from Portland. I didn't go crazy with the buying, but I did pick up a copy of the Sims 2 University expansion pack, which is FUN. I haven't played around with it too much, yet, what with the World of Warcrack addiction and all, but the whole thing of getting good grades for your Sims is pretty challenging. Later on,
polysciguy came around and rallied the troops for dinner at Olive Garden.
I wasn't feeling too great yesterday, so I did a phat stack of nothing, and that was beautiful. I did do some yoga, so I wasn't completely lazy, but yeah, pretty lazy. I gotta hit the training hard for the next two weeks.
Random note for
totchiko: More Friends: Music from Final Fantasy tickets are available! I saw it and thought of you :)
That's all I've got for now. ::pwing!::
