More slacker-y posting
Dec. 15th, 2004 05:16 pmI'm slacking agaaaaain with the posting. Deal. ;p I'm sleepy today. I did a quick lifting session and practiced some wushu last night, but not for very long, because the Rec closed early. And squishy, muddy grass? Not the most ideal practice surface. Work is lightening up, though, at least. I look forward to sleeping a lot. A lot a lot a lot.
Interview goodness from
sarapada:
1) Why did you end up going to University of Oregon?
Initially, I thought I wanted to be a journalist, and UO reportedly had a good program. Also, I wanted to go somewhere relatively close to my HS, but not so close that I'd have to live at my parents' house. And my S.O. at the time had a year left of high school, and was figuring on going to UO, as well, and since I was in the height of my codependency at the time, that was just more reason to go here. ^^;
2) What's the best book you've read in the last year?
That would assume that I've actually had time to, you know, *finish* a book in the past year. ::laughs:: Uhhh, the only one that comes to mind is Of Love and Other Demons. (Marquez) I have others that I'm working on, but they're not really nearing completion.
3) What exactly do you do at your job? I'm never quite sure.
I basically do web design--some graphics, but also some back-end stuff. I'm purposely vague about it these days, because I did sign an NDA, and all. ^^;
4) If you had an unlimited budget, how would you decorate your living space?
I think I would have to move to a new place in order to do this. ::laughs:: I've always wanted to try something really bold, like slate blue walls with some dark red accents. I think red would be involved in some way for at least one room, because I loves me the redness!
5) Who is that guy on the background of your journal?
That's Kimura Takuya, of SMAP! They began as a boy band of sorts, but now they're all over Japanese TV and such. Boy bands are more fun when they A) don't pretend to be "artists", and B) are willing to publicly make asses of themselves and do silly things.
