Bleh. :p

So, rrrgh. I feel fairly awful today, and I was dumb enough to forget my happy blue pills at home, so I'm currently relying on Tylenol, which is a far inferior medication for this sort of thing. And there's still the fact that I want to eat everything within a 100 foot radius. And there's also my foot, which seems to be healing up as it should be, thus far, but I'm still paranoid about using it too much and potentially goofing up the healing process.

I want to go home. But I shouldn't, so I won't.

Can anyone out there think of a cool, geeky/nerdy license plate frame that I should get for my car? I currently have a UO Alumni license plate frame, but I feel as though if I stick that on there, I may very well get grouped in with the folks who paint a big "O" on their car, or have those idiotic UO flags on either side of their car. So, I guess I want something that's more Me-ish to balance it out. :)

I haven't mentioned this in a while, or perhaps ever, but if you haven't been watching Joan of Arcadia, you should be. I'll note that the second season isn't quite as tightly woven as the first (IMHO), but it's still good material. It's lovely how the writers can take an obnoxious character and add layers to the character that actually make you remember that hey, he may act like a socially impaired moron, but he's also a person, and he's not acting that way just for the sake of being a jerk.

I mention this because, damn it all, last week they made me sympathize with Friedman. FRIEDMAN. And this was after a good 10-20 episodes of consistently and inevitably saying, "Shut up, Friedman!" whenever he was on screen. Part of this is because the writers began fleshing him out on a more three-dimensional way. (he's a tertiary character, hence why it didn't happen sooner) And the rest of it is because, well, this kid can ACT. In fact, every single member of the teenage cast can act the hell out of the material they get, and that's really quite impressive, considering some of the no-talent hacks that make it onto TV and into movies. :p

That's all for now. ::poof::
