Cooking for Engineers. The recipes look pretty legit to me, and the diagrams make sense! I'm something of a foodie, though, so your mileage may vary.
It's been graphics ahoy for me this week, and I am enjoying it hugely. The time just seems to fly by! Unfortunately, I think that my bad seated posture gets even worse when I do graphics work, because my neck and shoulders are periodically getting really sore. Rrrgh. I could definitely go for a good massage about now. In fact, I might indulge in one tomorrow, since there'll be a masseuse coming here anyway. :)
I've got a headache this big. And the Excedrin I keep on my desk is expired. NOOOOOOO!
Nanowrimo is creeping ever closer, but I'm *still* debating whether I'll participate or not. I haven't really latched on to any of the story ideas I've been tossing around, yet, and I really want it to be something I love, so I'll finish it out even if I don't make the November 30th deadline. (yes, those 36,000+ words of UTK are still sitting on my hard drive and receiving no love or attention :p) I guess I'll have to think on it more.
In other news, all Thursdays will now be Turf Thursday. Because they both start with a T. ::rotfl:: But no, really, it's because James usually makes a grandiose meal involving steak, because I'm generally watching Survivor, and all the footage of them eating plain rice and the occasional fish, "makes us really appreciate good food." :)
Jeez, it's been a day already, and yesterday's survey is still making me giggle. I think it's mainly the idea of becoming a rock star named "Gummi Worm Onose." XD
And my *God*, Oblivion Dust needs to get back together RIGHTNOW. I cannot stop listening to this album!
EDIT: This just in--Jon Stewart will be on 60 Minutes this week, talking about the recent Crossfire brouhaha.
