This yanked from [livejournal.com profile] tailixiong: The Izzard fan in all of us must go to see Romance and Cigarettes, whenever it comes out. It's a musical, is directed by John Turturro, and there are some other awesome people in the cast. Looks like fun times!

Speaking of Eddie Izzard, he also appears in Ocean's Twelve, which I hadn't particularly planned on seeing. But now, I'll probably go, and he'll be there for all of 10 minutes, and then I'll have to suffer through 90 minutes of Her Overratedness Miss Julia Roberts. (whose character was completely nonessential in the first movie, by the way) Oh, bother. :p

Anyway, I barely slogged through my training appointment yesterday, and I also learned that my trainer is quitting because she's going back to school. BOOOO. She said to look around and let her know if anyone else seemed like they'd be someone I'd want to train with after she leaves, but so far, I'm not expecting to find anyone that suits me as well. The other trainers that I see around the facility when I'm there seem to be far more obsessed with looking cute and/or being pumped up than I'd like.

Being all dead and stuff yesterday, I crocheted while finishing off the first three episodes of Six Feet Under, and I'm enjoying it so far. A little of that enjoyment is probably carryover fondness for Peter Krause, because anyone involved with Sports Night gets at least a few bonus points. :) BUT, the show itself is really good, and I totally understand why I keep hearing positive things about it.

Oh my freaky Jesus, this is *WAY* more amusing than it should be:

Okay, that was sad, even for me. XD

When the things I am working on start making me feel like dropping myself off a cliff is a *good* idea, I think it's time to go home. I'm certainly not getting anywhere on my own

That's the problem with jobs that involve taxing the brain--you feel so bloody brilliant when you puzzle through problems and figure things out for yourself, but you can easily find yourself wondering why you aren't stuck flipping burgers with all the other slackers, morons, and high school kids, a mere five minutes later.

Grr.
