Yuggh, I am this close to deleting [livejournal.com profile] queerasfolkfans from my friends list, *again*. Too many stupid fangirls re-posting the same crap news bits over and over, too much terrifyingly bad English. :p This *is* true of a lot of communities, but this one seems to spew forth such offenses ~3 times as often as any other group. Rrrgh. I can deal with spammy postings, but not when they comprise over half the posts I see in a day.

Anyway, I should say something good about a community to balance out the above, so: [livejournal.com profile] taste_maximum leads me to wonderful things, like this video clip. Damn, Ken Lloyd is still hot. I wish I could understand more of what they're saying. ;_;

I WANT BUBBLE TEA SO MUCH RIGHT NOW. Not that anybody's serving it this early in the morning.

Something *really* got its fangs into me at work, apparently--I was close to wrapping up my corrections when my right ear started itching violently. It wouldn't stop itching, and then it spread all across the back of my neck, and I almost thought I was having an allergic reaction or something. But, upon closer inspection, I have what looks to be not one, not two, but FOUR (possibly five) mosquito bites, all in the vicinity of my neck and ears. BLEH.

I think it's movie time this week, don't you? The Manchurian Candidate, perhaps? There are probably other things I could go for, too. Just not Thunderbirds, please. People keep telling me that the original program was good, but I still maintain that the movie looks like crap on a stick.

Okay, I'm shutting up now.

So, hey, I've been offered a new job! ::tap dance::

Ironically, the e-mail offering me a position came like 3 minutes after I'd sent off an e-mail to the aforementioned guys saying thanks for their support. I was supposed to hear within a week, and today was a week exactly, so with the sending of that e-mail this morning, I had pretty much released the last of my meager hopes with it. I guess that was a bit premature, eh? ^^;

Oy, I'm kind of glad that I didn't get my hopes up really far, because it would probably have driven me crazy--I am not so much great with waiting around for a yea or nay. ^^; Normally, I'm pretty much the president of the "Everything Will Work Out Fine" Club, but I guess the whole defensive pessimism thing wasn't so bad in this case, because man, what a pleasant surprise! :)

Also, I want to officially apologize for all my whining and complaining as of late re: the job issue. It's been a rough few months emotionally.

Now, I must go forth and find food, before my stomach eats itself.
I'm not entirely sure what the deal is with this thing, but it's pretty:

I am flower named skeets !
I consist of my friends!
Are you flower too?

(The code also wouldn't fit at the end of the previous post... mrrrr.)
