I've been lazy about the quotes, lately. ^^;

I will soon be updating the phone numbers and addresses in my Palm, because they are horribly out of date. So, give me yours, so I'll feel all special and popular when I see how long my list is! :D Well, and also so I might actually be able to call you or send you something when my time and/or resources permit. ;p

My body is crying right now. I did extra wushu practice earlier, because the Berkeley tournament is this weekend, and I am regretting it. Ow. ;_;

BTW: [livejournal.com profile] totchiko! I can't spend any extra time in SF before or after the tournament, because of my new work schedule. :( But, if you have any way of getting over to Berkeley this Saturday, I'd love to do lunch or something with you! :) I should have quite a bit of time on my hands, esp. since I'm only in 2 events.

Random gripe: Fox cancelled Wonderfalls. (surprise, surprise) The stupid part is that they cancelled it due to "poor ratings." Now, let's look at this for a moment:

First, they start the show off in the Friday Night Death Slot, which has killed more than a few quality TV shows prior to this. And, when they do finally move it *out* of the Friday lineup, where do they put it? Why, on Thursday, at 9pm. Opposite CSI. Which is also known as THE MOST WATCHED SHOW ON TELEVISION. And Wonderfalls DIDN'T start gobbling up those Nielsen boxes like candy? What an incredible shock! Screw you, Fox executives. :p

Work ran a bit later tonight--I didn't take off until 5:30. And, I have a lot of work to do tomorrow, so I'd better get to bed.
More!

aquatwo - I still enjoy reading your exploits, no matter how sporadic your postings might be. I wish that you were happier more often, or that I could do more to contribute to said happiness. I feel like you are getting your life together, though--you are planning for the future in ways that have yet to really cross my mind. Keep working at it, and you'll get where you want to go. :) Also, you have an adorable daughter, and I hope she becomes everything you're hoping for.

arabella_jin - You are an interesting read--your background fascinates me and the most random things seem to happen to you. I hope things are looking up for you in all aspects of your life, especially in your work! And if/when you go back to Japan, I'm coming over so we can stalk Shingo together. ;p

axiom_ - You are as opinionated as ever, but it works for you. :)

bookid - You're fun to have around, and it bums me out that I'm always having to go to work or something whenever you actually make it down here. Hopefully that won't be such a big issue from now on. Still, I look forward to when you move in here, it'll be fun. :)

capnslappy - It sucks that you left Eugene before I got to know you particularly well, but I've always thought of you as an amiable guy with a good sense of humor and nerdity to spare. I'm also glad that you and Nikki are doing so well and taking good care of each other.

carebear - I still remember you as one of the precious few who actually took my dopey birthday present plugs to heart. I must have watched that movie a billion times or so since you sent it to me. You've been busy, but it sounds like you are having an amazing experience getting to know the new addition in your life. I hope it continues to be rewarding.

chyee - I love that you're doing so well, because I know how much you've really grown as a person. Just remember to give yourself a break once in a while, because it's awful to hear about you having all these crazy stress-induced ailments! We must do lunch sometime, assuming our respective lives *ever* slow down enough. :)

cmsunflash - Having you in the wushu gang has been great fun, and I am going to *really* appreciate your presence when we go to Berkeley--you are one of the few things that saved me from complete testosterone overload when we were at Stanford. ::rotfl:: Hopefully the rest of your life is treating you well, and congratulations on grad school!

collegegirl - Glad you managed to get rid of the crazy people--I missed your random postings while you were on hiatus. I'm also curious to see one of these bags you've been making so much, lately.

coyoterose - I have to say, your cosplay work has grown very polished--I was looking at some of the accessories you've made, the other day, and just, wow. I hope things start looking up for your soon in other areas of your life, too.

craftyran - I'm glad to have you around, because you're great fun, and always seem to make a given day at least a little bit better. You also remind me that a little healthy obsession can be a good thing. (I'd ask to borrow PoP but I figure it'll be a while before y'all get done with it ^_-)

Beh. Back to doing what I do. I am thinking about skipping wushu today, because A) I have tons of work to do, and B) I'm still sore as all hell. Fan-TAS-tic. ;p
Yep, definitely skipping wushu. I don't think I can deal with it today.

I am currently debating whether or not I want to take on more freelance work. I could certainly use the money, but I have gotten basically nothing done this week. I think that fact is more due to my tournament preparation than my new job, but it's hard to tell. That's part of why I don't want to go to practice tonight: I want to see how much I can get done this evening, work-wise, so I can get a good feel for how I'll do once my schedule goes back to normal.

QUIZ TAIMU! Let me say, it's funny that I got this result. :) (Hi Mom!)

Country Quiz Result )

Does this mean that some overambitious Communist chased me out of my real body into a smaller one that was nearby? Hee. :)

The other result I get is the United Nations. (which is not a country, but hey, I didn't make the quiz)
