I got bored and added/subtracted a few things to/from my moldy old Cafepress shop. Don't worry, the infamous 1337 shirt is still lurking around. :) I'm tempted to grab a few of those DDS stickers myself, because we were discussing that style of sticker with "DDS" printed on it at work the other day, but I don't like the idea of paying shipping for stickers. :p

So, beh. I'm looking at my portfolio, and feeling rather dismayed. On the one hand, I love the way the portfolio site itself looks, but on the other hand, the stuff *in* it is kind of disappointing to me. I know I can do better work than some of that stuff. Boss!James made the observation yesterday that I'm probably where he is in terms of portfolio content--I'm looking back and feeling that my old work isn't really applicable to what I do now, so I want to overcompensate by just cranking out a bunch of new material.

I'm excited about the next couple of days. Friday, in particular, is going to be awesome. I love Rufus Wainwright! He's supposed to be quite amazing live, too. ;_;

Speaking of which, I seriously need to meet more people who share my music taste, so I won't have to go to shows by myself all the time. But, I think that my overall taste in music is far too eclectic overall for me to do that. Maybe I'll just have to find certain people to cover certain genres. ;p

And I'm spent.

The Last Samurai!

So, I've actually talked to people about this a bit, and we're going to try it again.

THE LAST SAMURAI! This Saturday. 6:30 or 7:05 showing! Drop me a line if you'd like to join us. Seriously. I'd love to have the company, but I really want to see this movie, and I'll go by my damned self if I have to. I hope it doesn't come to that, though. ^^;

Anyway! As you probably haven't heard, because I've been keeping it uber-secret for safety reasons, I'll be taking James to see Shania Twain at the Rose Garden this evening, as his Christmas present. I *must* dig him an awful lot, to sit through that many hours of country music with him. ::laughs:: Anyway, point being, I won't be at home.

Let me just say, *man*, this chick's shows are expensive. If I were a musician, I don't think I'd be charging people up to $80 a head in order to come see my wank ass play a guitar. But then, I don't have a multi-million dollar musical empire, do I? ;p

The next few days will be pretty darn busy and eventful. Whoof!

Anyway, I suppose I should eat something before we hit the road in a little over an hour.
