ARGH

Annoying things about the past couple days:

1) I am basically taking 2 days off to sit on my ass and do nothing, so my stupid immune system can make some half-assed attempt to catch up. This annoys me to no end. I have responsibilities, for chrissake.
2) I really want to sleep but I CAN'T because I keep coughing myself awake. UGH SHOOT ME
3) Okay, seriously. AT&T? I do not care about your auto-payment plan. *Especially* when it's being described to me via a message on my answering machine by some robotic-sounding bitch on an automated recording. ESPECIALLY when this is occurring at 8:45am.

I'm going to try in vain to sleep some more.

So we found some NyQuil squirreled away in the bathroom earlier, so I can knock myself out tonight and sleep like the dead! YES ;_; I am feeling somewhat better, after finally getting some sleep. It's kind of annoying how it seems to take me 12 hours of trying to sleep in order to get 6 hours of *actual* sleep. ;p

I am going to work tonight, which is probably not the greatest idea in the world, but eh, whatever. It's Tuesday, it'll be easy. And I'm really bored and frustrated with sitting around doing nothing. And money's good, too.

The costume goes slowly. All my pieces are cut, and I attempted to do the stay-stitching of the necklines today, but the sewing machine kept snagging after like 2 stitches. This does not bode well for our hero. Maybe I'll just sew at the Craft Center tomorrow and Thursday--it looks like a fairly simple pattern, so it shouldn't take long to build the shirt. The hardest part will be the gold/yellow detailing, which I'll probably hand-sew, and I can do that anywhere I want to. :)

If I had some more yarn, I'd do some knitting, but the yarn I currently have is too skinny. BOO. I hate being sick.
