My shift got canceled tonight! :O The 3 of us who were working all showed up, and discovered that none of us had keys to the building. So, we waited outside while attempting to get in touch with James (Boss James, not James James) so he'd come by and open the doors for us. Half an hour later, we were still stuck outside, and nobody was answering the phone, so we decided to call it a night, b/c there wasn't much else we could do, and none of us really wanted to work anyway.

THIS IS WHAT MY CAR IS LIKE! :D :D :D Well, approximately, anyway. I was secretly hoping for a yummy red one with manual shift, but what the hell do I care? IT'S A CAR! I'm *so* going to model on it like a hot rod chick after I bring it home. LMAO!

So I think MySQL is working... I nabbed one of the Solaris binaries and unzipped it into my directory, which was pretty painless. Jeeshy. If this actually works out, then I'm going to feel super-lame for burning up all those hours trying to compile the fscking source. ^^;

I'm trying to think of a good way to test it out right now, but I'm not sure how to connect to it, exactly. When I was working with the dbs I have stored locally, I was using Dreamweaver to make the connections, since I was already designing pages in it anyway. Mrrrr. It's going to be difficult to get this all done by Tuesday morning, especially now that my entire Monday is going to be booked.

NAME THAT CAR!

So, because my car's going to be blue, the R. Dorothy idea I had previously doesn't quite have the same zing it used to. I suddenly find that I'm not entirely sure what to call it, actually! And, if I'm going to nab vanity plates (which I may, depending on cost), then I need to come up with something before Monday.

SO! I point dramatically and challenge YOU to put on your thinking caps and NAME THIS CAR! :D

Something thematic with its colour or size would be nice.
So would something that'd fit on a license plate, or that could be shortened to fit on a license plate.
BUT, something that's completely random and/or true to my sometimes-bizarre tastes and general nerd/geek factor would do me just fine!

Man, I'm bored, and this MySQL crap is going slowly. Mrrrrrr. Perhaps I should sleep on it.
