And we're back in the saddle! :D

Today, himitsu asks: Have you ever had someone confuse you with someone else?

Hrm, not that I can think of. ^^; At least, not visually. I haven't ever run into anyone that looked even remotely like me. And I don't think I've *ever* been told that I look like anyone famous. Well, except Janeane Garofalo, but at the time, I had a similar vocal timbre and a crappy attitude, so I'm guessing it had more to do with that than anything else. ;p

I did have some random lady in the parking lot outside the Horsehead tell me that I looked really familiar the other day, though, oddly enough. I didn't recognize her from anywhere.

Aurally, though, I get mistaken for other people quite a bit. During most of high school, when my mom's friends would call the house, they'd *always* think I was my mom, which usually resulted in a rapid-fire string of Chinese sentences from whoever was on the other end. ::rotfl::

Now that I'm out of the homestead and living in my own place, I'll occasionally get people on the phone who think I'm JAMES. LMAO! I don't sound *that* masculine, do I?? XD


And kamuix99 asks: What is your prefered alcoholic beverage of choice?

Well, flavor's important to me, and I'm very finicky about beer and wine, so I usually gravitate towards tasty drinks that generally contain some hard A. In other words, if it's a chick drink, I'll love it. :D On the rare occasions when I go out to bars and become dr0nk, I seem to always start off with a Vanilla Stoli's and Coke.

I'll still swill b33r and do shots with the best of them, though. Look out, you! :D

HEY, anybody want to go to International Night on Sunday? Yesno? I realize as I'm typing this that everyone who'd be interested in going will be role-playing, but I thought I'd put it out there anyway.

Speaking of social-ish things, rantar & Co. are having a party on Saturday, or so I'm told by James. Hooray! The suck part is that I can only be there for an hour or two, because I have to work at 10p. Uwaaaa! So sad! I'd get the night off, but I've already traded out two of the 3 remaining Saturdays this month, so it'd be nigh-impossible to trade a third one, especially on such short notice. Bleh.

And speaking of parties, go fill out the birthday poll! I want you guys to have fun, too, so I need to know what you want to do! :)

And speaking of knowing what you want to do, (okay, that's probably stretching it ::rotfl::) I'm going to be talking to the DB internship guy. I probably won't take it, because there's likely to be too much of a time committment, but I don't have the e-mail he originally sent me, so I'm foggy as to what the details are re: the task at hand, hours per week, etc.

Well, I can't think of anything else of note, at the moment, so I guess I'll be on my way.

Because my birthday is coming up, I figured I should update my Amazon Wishlist! Not that anyone can afford to get me anything, but, this is the only time I remember to do it, so...

I also updated my Hot Topic Wishlist, because I always like new wearables.

And now, I will end this exercise in complete lack of subtlety, and get back to work. XD

Also, if anyone can recommend good, recreational books for me to read, leave a comment! (I think I asked this before, but I can't remember when, so lord knows if I'll ever find the post again)
