"NANDE DARO?"

I have the insane urge to pop up and yell "NANDE DAROOOOOO?" at the appropriate moment. I take this as a sign that it is TOO EARLY IN THE MORNING. XD

I want my haaaaaair to arrive. And by this, I mean my fake hair. While I was out shopping yesterday, I bought these weird little elastic thingies to use when I put in the extensions, and it's getting me all excited about it. <3

I've found a place where the internet isn't slow! Unfortunately, it's in class, so that doesn't help matters much in the grand scheme. But at least now I know that I don't have some freaky internet curse. ;ppp

Last night was fun. We had some insane conversation, lots of laughs. (somebody still has to explain "NINE IS THE NUMBER OF YOUR CHOOSING" to me, though! ;p) The Buffy feed got hosed for the THIRD TIME, though, so UPN is officially getting an angry letter/phone call from me.

I am still working on El Scorcho Portfolio. Do we honestly think I'll get done by Friday? I have no idea. But I want that internship, so I suppose I'm stuck.

I'm out of time, and making 10000x typos, so I'm out.

In other news, my face feels really cold and weird right now. My aerobics class was canceled today! WTF's with that noise? So I came back and wound up doing laps around the track with thistleknot and dellswor. Unfortunately, it's a liiiittle nippy outside, so my extremities are crying right now. Prior to that, I had a quick lunch with junsiew, and a short nap. And class. Let's see how long I can go without missing any classes!

Tonight = work on portfolio some more, watch Angel, and go to the night job, and maybe work on my Japanese HW, while I'm there. My work schedule totally rocks this term--I actually got my top requests for work nights at DDS. And I can still go to 80's Night on Thursday, if I want to! I probably won't this week, with today's shoe dilemma, but in the future! alleycatsphinx, take note! :D

Okay, I should probably stop B.S.ing and get on with it. Or at least stop long enough to dance around like a dork to the happy BUCK TICK song that just came one. Byebye!

I forgot to mention amusing bits from Comm. Design this morning!

Anyway, our assignment from Monday was to bring in a piece of design that we have little or no attatchment to, i.e. something that we didn't design ourselves, because we'd be using them to do some sample critiquing, because we're hoping to emulate the client/designer relationship a lot in this class.

I brought in ShingoMama.com for my piece of design, because it's a fun site, it's Shingo Mama, and it also targets a young audience. And because I'm crazy. ::rotfl:: And somehow, I wound up being one of the 3 people whose design pieces were chosen to be critiqued. XD We did a good bit of actual critiquing on the index page, but eventually they decided to explore the rest of the site, so they clicked on the link to the online store, not realizing that the Store was part of the Fuji Terebi website.

We basically got horrendously lost in the Fuji Terebi site, and then everyone started getting distracted by random pictures of cute fuzzy animals and Japanese people in wacky costumes, and it dragged *everyone* off-track. ::aldfhaldfhdaslhf::
