Note to self: If you have work to get done on a given night, and your brain tells you that you can fall asleep early, and get up early to work on it... DON'T BELIEVE IT, for it's all just a dirty, dirty lie!

Yes, now I need to somehow cram in work time for my HW between now and tomorrow at 3p. x_x I have a 2.5-hour break this afternoon between CIT and Art History discussion, so I will definitely have some time to work on it, but I'll probably be cutting it close. GOOD JOB SARAH! ;ppppppp

See? Your brain is full of dirty tricks! BEWARE :O

Anyway, at least I feel moderately well-rested. I'd better scrounge up some breakfast before I start my day.
One of the best things about buying a mocha on campus--they give you a little chocolate stick with it as a garnish of sorts, and if you drop it into your hot coffee, then as you drink it, you occasionally get a straw full of warm, melty chocolate.

It's definitely the little things in life. :)

Anyway, I have about 40 minutes before work, so I'm trying to get a bit of work done on my project. I'm kind of stumped as to what I want to do with it. I'm kind of hoping that they're not expecting anything blindingly original, because it's friggin' Op Art, and there's a whole ton of it out there. :p Even if we do something that fits the constraints of what can be categorized as Optical Art, somebody else has probably done it already. At least, that's what it feels like to me, right now. ^^;;;

Anyways, back to the task at hand.

I now declare this to be the Week Of Comic Book Guy Quotes. ::rotfl::

Oh, so when I was sitting in Japanese section today, and I was seated near the door, I happened to look down and noticed the little wooden wedge that's used as a doorstop for that door. Written on it, in black permanent marker, was this:

"FOR USE IN CASE OF VAMPIRES"

I almost busted out laughing in the middle of the group activity. LMAO!

It's a slow day here at Law today, so I'm making tons of headway on my Illustrator project. Phew! ^^;;; I was a little worried earlier. Maybe I'll get lucky and finish early, so I'll actually have time to study for the Japanese quiz that's scheduled for tomorrow.

I have this insane urge to turn on AIM right now, but I think that's kind of pushing it for my second day working at this place. ::rotfl:: I guess I'll do more HW to pass the time.

And a final note: Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki is a pretty funny, new-ish web comic, esp. if you have any grasp on magical girl anime stereotypes. :D
