We are SO cracked out. ::rotfl::
Dec. 16th, 2001 08:50 amSo we haven't gone to bed yet up here, or at least James and I haven't. I'm considering doing so soon, though, because A) I would like to get some work for job #2 done this afternoon, B) it'd be nice to do some shopping as well, and C) I'll need at least a *little* sleep if I'm going to be up until 11pm watching QAF.
So I did some tooling around while watching Finding Forrester. The SNL Celebrity Jeopardy sketches have somehow turned Sean Connery into a laugh riot. And most of the time, he's not even actually *trying* to be funny. ::adlsfkahsdlfhasdlf:: But it was a nice movie. I don't know if I'd have paid theater rates to see it, had I been asked... but what am I saying? This is Eugene, what *else* would we have to do? ;pppp But, yeah, it was worth my time and my pay movie channels.
Anyways, after that, we took off for a yummy dinner at Olive Garden. Wheee! I <3 Olive Garden, although I must admit, I almost live more for the salad, breadsticks, and appetizers than I do for the actual entree. I *have* made some pretty spankin' good pasta sauces in my day, so I guess I've gotten used to my own style in the realm of sauce-on-noodles. As if I wasn't picky enough already. ;p
After that, it was another game of Risk 2210. James and Zach pretty much killed each other off, Dan and Cory fought it out for first place, and I was a very solid middle. I still can't figure out if "meek and nice" or "vindictive and quick to anger" is better. ::rotfl:: Not that I was really trying to, though. 90% of the time I just get enjoyment out of messing with other people's plans. :D
Then, because we were still not tired enough for bed yet, all of us except Zach and Felicia stayed awake and watched Total Recall. I hadn't seen that flick in a while... I think I remember it being slightly better the first time around, but my memory's fuzzy. ::shrug::
Side note: Ever notice how you look back at some people that you used to be infatuated with, and that you once thought were positively *beautiful* because of said infatuation, but haven't seen in a while... and when you look at them again, you realize that they've somehow gotten 10000 times less cute over time, even though they, in all probability, look just about the same as they did before? More proof that time changes our views and attitudes, I suppose.
Anyhow, it's time for bed. G'night.
