So we haven't gone to bed yet up here, or at least James and I haven't. I'm considering doing so soon, though, because A) I would like to get some work for job #2 done this afternoon, B) it'd be nice to do some shopping as well, and C) I'll need at least a *little* sleep if I'm going to be up until 11pm watching QAF.

So I did some tooling around while watching Finding Forrester. The SNL Celebrity Jeopardy sketches have somehow turned Sean Connery into a laugh riot. And most of the time, he's not even actually *trying* to be funny. ::adlsfkahsdlfhasdlf:: But it was a nice movie. I don't know if I'd have paid theater rates to see it, had I been asked... but what am I saying? This is Eugene, what *else* would we have to do? ;pppp But, yeah, it was worth my time and my pay movie channels.

Anyways, after that, we took off for a yummy dinner at Olive Garden. Wheee! I <3 Olive Garden, although I must admit, I almost live more for the salad, breadsticks, and appetizers than I do for the actual entree. I *have* made some pretty spankin' good pasta sauces in my day, so I guess I've gotten used to my own style in the realm of sauce-on-noodles. As if I wasn't picky enough already. ;p

After that, it was another game of Risk 2210. James and Zach pretty much killed each other off, Dan and Cory fought it out for first place, and I was a very solid middle. I still can't figure out if "meek and nice" or "vindictive and quick to anger" is better. ::rotfl:: Not that I was really trying to, though. 90% of the time I just get enjoyment out of messing with other people's plans. :D

Then, because we were still not tired enough for bed yet, all of us except Zach and Felicia stayed awake and watched Total Recall. I hadn't seen that flick in a while... I think I remember it being slightly better the first time around, but my memory's fuzzy. ::shrug::

Side note: Ever notice how you look back at some people that you used to be infatuated with, and that you once thought were positively *beautiful* because of said infatuation, but haven't seen in a while... and when you look at them again, you realize that they've somehow gotten 10000 times less cute over time, even though they, in all probability, look just about the same as they did before? More proof that time changes our views and attitudes, I suppose.

Anyhow, it's time for bed. G'night.

Woo!

I AM UP! I got up around 1:30, a bit grumpily, but I did it. I am just a bit tired now, so I'll probably be able to fall asleep after QAF ends. Bad news: I will have to leave 3/4ths of the way through watching Gone With The Wind at movie night in order to watch QAF. Either that, or I can try watching QAF on Tuesday, but I tend to forget and miss part of it when I don't watch on Sunday.

I'm sneaky-peeking at the syllabus for Web Dev next term... it looks like they're going full-out and making you go through a site construction process like you actually would in the professional world. Kinda scary when I think about it, but also pretty exciting. The only potential downside is working in groups, because I'm *totally* a solo flyer when it comes to designing web sites. On the flip side, however, maybe the other people in my group will be willing to take on the presentation and proposal end of things? Eh, wishful thinking, I suppose.

Anyways, I'm going with Felicia, Cory, and I think Amber to get haircuts pretty soon, because I'm gettin' too shaggy. So, I'd better get moving!
Or at least, I should:

Take the Corporate Mascot Test at Willaston's Lounge!

I just got back from shopping with some friends. I didn't make much headway on the Christmas shopping, but I did come up with some good ideas for folks I hadn't thought of anything for, and I got myself some workout clothes for my P.E. class next term, so I won't be wearing junky t-shirts and bright red shorts like I did in middle school. ^^; I just wanted something comfortable that didn't look like it had been run over by a lawnmower. And preferable, it would be something that also doesn't draw unneccessary attention to any one body part, because when it does, it's usually not a very good body part. ::rotfl::

Oh, and we all got haircuts, too! Wheee! Now we all look supercute. I went with shorter layers in the front this time, and I think I like it. My hair doesn't go all flat against my forehead in the front now.

Anyhoo, I'm going to watch Gone With The Wind in a bit downstairs, but in the meantime I will clean up the house and do worky stuff.
