Why for is this silly child still awake?

Well, I posted on Hellmouth, for one. And I, the mostly-pacifist asian chick, play the fearsome cool black guy. ::rotfl:: You have no idea how long I spent sitting here thinking, "damnit, I'm making Gunn sound all femmy! ARGH!! I'm SUCH a CHICK!" and other similar things. But hey, I got it done, and from the look of things, it should be interesting. It has already made me question my prior assumption about me being more masculine/androgynous than the average bear-- er, chick. ;p

I have jitters about the oral performance in Japanese on Wednesday. It's going to kick my ass. I suck at standing up and talking in front of people already, but trying to do so, in Japanese, while trying to actually sound natural? Uh-uh. Not gonna happen.

Y'know what's annoying? When somebody whose SN you don't recognize IMs you, sounding an awful lot like they know you from somewhere, while you're AFK. And when you come back, they're gone, so you can't even ask them where the hell you know them from. :p

Anyways, back to why I'm still up. A) I'm not tired anymore. I made the mistake of staying up too long, and pushing through my tired phase, so now I'm awake again. No clue as to when it will wear off. And B) I'm waiting for James to finish his take-home exam. I hope he gets done soon, because I'll be hating life tomorrow morning if I stay up for too much longer.

And I'm off to bed, soon. I hope.

Wow, you have no idea how many times I wanted to fire up Mr. LJ client and post. BUT I COULDN'T. ::cries:: It's frightening how addicted you can get to this thing.

I got sucked in by NetFlix today. Y'see, I've been wanting to host a regular anime night for a little while now, but I was worried about having enough things to show each week/month/whatever. I'm not especially rich, so that rules out buying a bunch of mersh tapes, and even fansubs would be a stretch, because 4 tapes already comes to $20 or more.

Then, enter NetFlix, with their "As Many DVDs As You Want for $20/month" deal. Add a pretty diverse anime DVD selection, with many titles I'm curious about, and stir. I now have the next, oh, 18 anime nights planned out. ::rotfl:: I am crazy.

It was a pretty normal Tuesday, overall. I was very sleepy for most of the day, but I survived. I did fit in lunch with Cory and Felicia at Misako. I was tempted to stay home and nap instead, but I'm a big sucker for teriyaki chicken.

Buffy was good. Next week's musical will be *so* amusing though. LOL! Joss does some of the coolest, wackiest crap with his show.

I can't think of anything else to say, so I will run away.
