Computers SUCK. >_

Apparently, big Starcraft games make baby Jesus cry. :p We had a phatty brawl planned out for tonight, and we ended up sitting here for like 1 1/2 hours trying to get it to work. At first we couldn't all see each other, and then my monitor decided to scare me and stop working. ;_; And then there was laaaaaag, which led us to believe that we were bogging down the cable line too much, cos when one of us would quit, the game speed improved significantly. And there were various other crashes/disconnects/etc that just screwed with everything. Stupid computers.

I was way pissed about the monitor too, especially after my cool ergonomic keyboard went the way of the dodo earlier this week. Jesus H. Kee-rist! Fortunately it's working again, but *man* was I pissed at the time.

Anyhoo, I made quilt square progress today, I have all my materials gathered, my squares cut out, and my iron-ons ready to go. I have some ideas that sound really cool in my head, so I hope they turn out to be as cool as my imagination thinks they will. ^^; I also have a feeling the embroidery is going to take a lot longer than I'm anticipating, but I'm sure Alyson will understand if I'm late in finishing, seeing as I didn't even know I'd get to do a square until just a few days ago. ^^;;;

Anyhoo, the bed is calling me, so now, I go.

Oh yeah

I should mention that the day wasn't a complete loss. :) After Cory and Felicia finally picked up Ann at the airport (her flight was delayed several times, poor thing ;_;) we all got our respective acts together and went to dinner. It was this bar and grill place at the mall that was actually very good! They brought me a Taco Salad (chicken instead of beef) that was soooo tasty. :D The gods were very pleased. I sampled some of the french onion soup that James ordered too, and it's probably the best I've ever had locally. Yummeh!

Even though it's probably bad for me to become a social eater, I find that I always have such a nice time whenever the group gets together and goes out for dinner or something. It always reminds me of how awesome my friends can be, and how fun they are to talk to and be around. It's so cool that something as mundane as a simple meal can be made unique and enjoyable every time, when the right company is included in the act. :)
